I most likely have posted my favorite vinegar uses, but for my sake I'm reviewing them as a reminder of why I have gallons of vinegar on hand:)
1. Keep the little rinse aid container in the dishwasher full of vinegar. (My dishwasher has a knob to unscrew, fill the hole, then replace the knob thingie on the inside of the door.)
2. Dish scrubbers are kept in a glass vase on my window sill filled with equal parts white vinegar and water.
3. Wipe off counters, bread boards, etc. using a spray bottle filled with vinegar and a bottle filled with hydrogen peroxide. Spray and wipe with one and then the other solution.
4. Unclog any nozzle (misters, shower head) with a soak in vinegar.
5. Fill the fabric softener dispenser of the washer with 1/2 cup of vinegar, no need to use dryer sheets as your clothes will be soft and little static cling.
6. Rinse hair with 1/2 cup vinegar after shampooing, rinse with warm water to remove all smell of vinegar. Brings out the natural shine and removes tangles!
These are just a few, but the list is endless from washing windows to toilet bowls....no strong chemical smell although vinegar does have an odor it dissipates quickly. Be creative with your uses of vinegar, the cost is ideal!
