Our lemon tree isn't a big producer yet, but our lime tree is an over producer. It's based on where they are planted. This year I will plant another lemon tree in a better spot where it gets a tad bit more sun.
This is the secret recipe we use for the best limeade!
Squeeze 8 limes (various sizes, if limes are small use a couple more)
Pour juice into a sandwich ziploc bag and freeze flat.
One baggie of lime or lemon juice
1- 1/2 cups sugar
Add enough water to make 2 quarts of liquid
Stir well and drink up!
No colds at the Moore household this winter!
When we feel a sore throat coming on we drink more limeade that day....Vitamin C remedy!
I have both sizes of the Pampered Chef mixer for juices...worth every penny of the cost.
